Newbie is set to explore the UK this summer as we embark on a two-month journey across the country!
Newbie is going on tour! From Friday 21st June to Saturday 31st August Newbie is travelling the UK in a Newbie designed airstream. The two month tour includes free to attend events that nod to our Swedish heritage, as well as providing classic family fun and activities. From traditional Swedish lawn games and fika, to face painting, flower crown making and sing-and-sign classes, we’re welcoming the whole family to join us and enjoy what’s on offer.
Newbie On Tour will visit Milton Keynes, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Cardiff, Bristol, and Sheffield. At each of these stops not only will there be complimentary activity and treats to enjoy, but within the airstream there will also be an opportunity for grown-ups (and stylish little ones) to browse our latest collections and order items to be delivered next day to their homes.
People and planet remain at the core of everything we do, from the production of each new collection to launching the ‘Wear, Love, Give Back’ initiative across its UK stores. Newbie’s touring airstream is no different. The airstream is a 1960's classic that has been lovingly restored and renovated. The trailer transformation utilises a range of sustainably led solutions. The external and internal graphical wrap is a 3M LX480mc product which is the world’s first non-PVC, high performing wrap film. This is being used in conjunction with a matching 3M over laminate, which also boasts the greenest of credentials. The Airstream wrap has also been printed with HP non-solvent inks.
As part of the Airstream build, the wooden MDF fittings will be recycled during the ‘end of life de-rig’. To complete the build, the trailer will feature a rug flooring which is organic in nature.
