Sometimes we all need a little help. Luckily, technology is on our side and there are a wealth of pregnancy and parenting apps out there to help make your life a little easier. Whether it’s tracking the growth of your bump, noting down feeds or needing some friendly advice, there is an app for everyone.

To help get you started, we’ve listed a few of our top apps below:

Nurture

The Nurture pregnancy app gives you everything you need to track your pregnancy. From daily updates on baby size to developmental milestones and forum discussions, it’s a great resource, while inputs of daily intake and symptoms will help you track your own health over your pregnancy. Free.

Mush

This mobile app connects you with like-minded parents in your local area – which will come in handy during parental leave – as well as providing useful parenting guides, forums, and a place to buy and sell second-hand baby items. Free.

Hoop

Think of Hoop as the Time Out for parents. Sign up with your location and child’s age, and Hoop will show you all the family-friendly activities going on in your area. Sensory play? Messy fun! Toddler aquatic yoga? Free.

NCT Baby Change

This app helps take the stress out of shopping , holidays and days out by helping you locate the closet baby changing spots. Free.

Ask The Midwife

New to the market, Ask The Midwife lets users pay to interact with a professional midwife through the app, either by text message or video chat. It’s not cheap, but a comforting resource to have when you can’t reach your NHS Healthcare Visitor. From 99p. Additional fees.

BabyTime

This  feeding app makes it easy to track feeds, bottles, expressing, nappy changes, and even sleep. Free

Who’s Your Daddy

Designed by men, for men, this app is the go-to for first time dads and will help guide you through pregnancy and answer some of the questions you may be hesitant to ask. £2.99

The Wonder Weeks

The Wonder Weeks provides you with week-by-week updates on your child’s development and helps you figure out things like why your little dreamer has become a night owl. From £1.99.

Noisli

If you’re having trouble sleeping Noisli is here to help. With a range of sounds to choose from including wind, rain and white noise, you can switch off and hopefully get a good night’s sleep. Additional fees.
