Celebrate World Book Day with Newbie

The annual celebration of reading is back for another year. 'Share a Story' is the theme at the heart of the World Book Day campaign, encouraging parents to go beyond dressing up to read and share stories with their children for ten minutes every day. Reading together anywhere, anytime for just ten minutes a day is one of the best things you can do to connect with children. You could take this one step further by writing your own story. Spend ten minutes each evening adding a new chapter to your very own book. Something you and your little ones will cherish forever.

In celebration of World Book Day we wanted to share World Book Day’s 2019 £100 reads which are available in exchange for your World Book Day tokens. Snuggle up and enjoy diving into these captivating tales:

  • The Hundred and One Dalmatians: Cruella and Cadpig by Peter Bently
  • Ten Little Bookworms by Mike Brownlow,
  • LEGO® Minifigure Mayhem by Helen Murray, Beth Davies & Paula Regan
  • Claude: Best In Show by Alex T. Smith
  • Hubert Horatio: A Very Fishy Tale by Lauren Child
  • Bad Mermaids Meet The Witches by Sibéal Pounder
  • Percy Jackson and the Singer of Apollo by Rick Riordan
  • The Great Rocket Robbery by Frank Cottrell-Boyce
